Countdown : 9 days to go!

9 hari lagi to my BIG day!! owh mcm tak percaya je.. bkn hantaran je tak siap lagi, baju tunang, nikah n wedding pn tak siap lagi.. cuak2.. ngok tak tailor aku? aku call masa blk raya konon2 nk g fitting la kan since i dont plan to go back until my wedding, sekali dia ckp tak siap lagi daa.. ishh saiko ke per? 2 weeks to my wedding pn tak siap lagi? 2 hari lepas dia baru start kot sbb dia call aku tanya balik baju aku cemana.. rasa nk ngamuk je sbb aku dh kasi detail.. bukan dia dh draft ke design yg aku nak tu? sakit hati lah.. bila pulak aku nk g fitting nye neh?

hantaran aku pulak in progress lagi.. so far 4 je baru siap.. 7 more to go.. tatau la sempat ke tak sbb aku buat pn in between work kan.. blk keje dh kul 8++ thanks to the traffic.. time2 camni pn nk jam jugak ke wahai MRR2 oiii! pastu nk dinner lagi.. nk workout lagi... weekend pulak aku byk aktivity rumah terbuka.. huhu muat ke tak baju wedding aku nnt, asyik mkn je kejenye!

hotel pn tak book lagi.. selamba tak? wedding song pn tak burn lagi!! kad pn tak abis hantar lagi.. cemana nk kawin neh? target nk anta kad2 semua by this week la, kot2 tak sampai plak nnt.. tak ke naya? chayok2!!

owh yg paling best.. cuti kawin ku diextend atas arahan boss tersayang - abg swee yong.. hihih dia tgk plan cuti aku pastu tanya asal aku keje blk after Ipoh wedding.. aku plan amik cuti monday je the week after my Ipoh reception tuh.. aku ckp la cuti tak cukup.. takkan nk abiskan cuti aku kan.. dgn bahagianye dia ckp takpe.. hutang dulu kekeke tak pun kalau tak nnt2 guna je la mc.. selamba kan boss aku tu? jadi dgn bahagianye aku sambung je la cuti tu.. soo 3 weeks++ la aku cuti kawin!! yabedabedu! leh aku pindah rumah time tu.. 

nota kaki: korg rasa tak effect earthquake smlm? kuat giler kat tempat aku.. kerusi aku goyang2 cam buaian wey!!

dream shattered part 2!!

waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.. my dream wedding dress will stay as a dream!! sob sob sob.. turn out i was right, kak nana doesn't know how to make that dress.. sakit hati, sakit jiwa.. i want that dress!! i NEED that dress!! what pisses me off is the fact that i emailed her the picture last week and received no reply till today.. so i msg the husband asking for update.. kalau aku tak tanya, 2 hari before wedding baru nk inform ke apa? heee nak business ke tanak? tension aku!!

1. nak survey tailor bukan senang especially since hari raya is fast approacing.. i bet most of them will turn me down.. 2 months to hari raya and 3 months to my wedding.. sob sob.. the price is another issue.. maunye dorg nk 7-8 ratus for that beaded lace kan.. camtu wedding dress je dh 2k.. crazee eh mau spent like that for a wedding dress... kalau duit jatuh dr langit, aku g kat lynda rahim je.. dekat je ngn rumah aku ni.. senang!! honey, birthday present sy tahun ni g tempah baju kat lynda rahim boleh? hihihi

2. cari design lain? tamau tamau.. nak itu jugak.. dah berbulan2 aku survey tuk baju.. byk mmg la byk, tp semua common je.. kebaya labuh, kebaya pendek.. aaa buring buring!! i want something different!! aku kan jadi permaisuri sehari je seumur hidup.. i have a few other design im interested in tp aku tak rasa dia leh buat jugak.. so mcm mana? nak baju itew jugak!!


so kesimpulannye, saya perlu pulang ke kg halaman end of this month to decide on the caterer and menu.. and to finalize my wedding dress and to submit borang mak nenek all..


untuk menghappykan diri sendiri, here's my color palette for my akad nikah..

TEAL

yes, we are not wearing white for akad because we want something different and my mom told me after na wedding "pls dont go for white for akad. it's soooo common nowadays. boring!" there's no particular reason on why we settle on teal.. i just went to EuroModa and fall in love with the chiffon.. haha owh and we have no intention what-so-ever when we set foot in that shop, terbeli aje.. kuang kuang kuang..

hehe.. saya hanya menurut perintah!

dream shattered part 2??

Remember this post Dream shattered? That's part one.this is a different dream totally!! and since i managed to get the hall in the end, i'm hoping that i'll get to wear my dream dress on my wedding day.. *sigh

I’ve done a lot of survey on wedding dress even before we decided to get married.. so when the day arrives, I have a design in mind. Unfortunately, I have to forgo the dress I fell in love with because it’s not a traditional dress and I can foresee my mom’s reaction upon seeing the dress. No offense honey, but I don’t think you’ll agree to my choice either haha

so I settle on my second best.. with a picture of that dress in mind, I search high and low for the lace right here in Malaysia due to the lack of fund to fly off to Jakarta for it.. mind you, it’s the most difficult search ever hehe cause I saw ilah’s sister in law kebaya for her akad nikah and I love it!! I gave up on my dream dress, I’m not gonna give up on my dream lace!! honey was patient enough to follow me to all the textile shop that cross my path.. Thank you!

So finally last month, I found the lace of my dream!! It’s a bit pricey but I really really love it!

We went back last weekend to send it to the tailor and this evening she text me, informing me the lace I bought is not enough… huh??? Just my luck, heee! I complaint to honey and after further discussion, we decided to go for a different design as I’m not willing to part with more $$.. Obviously my dream dress came to mind! I sent him the picture forewarning him that he might not like the design. To my surprise he loves it! I so love u!!

Finger cross, I’m gonna email the picture to my tailor and I really hope they can make it!!
