Warrior Race!!

It's only fair for me to share about Laiqa's sportsday since we did one for Mika last week. Tahun ni, BB changed their sports day activities to mirror Spartan race for our little warriors and I totally like it! sebab event habis cepat and you could pick up your kids once they complete the full course.

She has been reminding me for a few weeks to cheer and watch her during the race.. she's a Diva, she needs all the attention she could get! And me, being the kepoh mom that I am, dok menjerit jerit from the sideline cheering her on. Tapinya, budak ni still melenggang kangkung je all through the obstacle. sempat stop to look for me.. hehehe Love you kakak!!

And Mika!! as soon as we stepped into the field, terus dia cakap, "I'm sooo jealous right now!" He's been wanting to do all this obstacle race and time dia dulu takde.. banyak kali dia attempt nak pegi masuk track nak main tapi aku tak kasi.. and end up dia pegi main dengan geng alumni dia.. event habis, mengagau daddy dok mencari budak tu!~

Hear me ROAR!!

I sometimes worry for my princess.. she's always fighting with her friends.. i cannot count the times she comes back and told me, "Tadi Muhammad/Izara Hana/etc buat saya" or "Ana Maryam/Dhiya/Affan Rayyan tak nak kawan saya harini"..

She's the gangster or abang kawasan of the house.. she's not scared to take on someone bigger than her (read: Mika) ahahaha but looking at her enjoying herself with her friends eases my mind and akes me proud.. she has no problem socializing with others and she has no problem being a lone ranger as well..

Aunties, our extended family members.. They have been sooo patient with my Monstar.. I am entertained and horrified at the same time when listening to their shenanigans at school. TQ aunties, there's no words to describe how grateful I am to you!!



Laiqa goes to Earthopia

This is Laiqa's first field trip with Brainy Bunch.. before this, dia dah pernah pegi field trip with IQ.. dia macam biasa excited berminggu-minggu before the actual trip.. everyday, dia invite aku ikut dia pergi "Jannah" katanya nak tengok animals.. best katanya, ada tiger, rabbit, elephant.. tiap hari, twice a day.. siap tanya kenapa mami tak boleh ikut hahaha anak mami sangat budak ni!

on the actual day, I was at home with her sister! so daddy lah yang hantar dia pergi sekolah.. excited dia, bangun pagi tak banyak ragam.. kul 6 ye dia bangun sebab nak kene hantar Mika dulu mihmihmih, baru la Maliki tau susah senang nak settlekan this 2 little monster pagi-pagi.. baru bape hari dah mengeluh~

sebab excited jugak, happy je nak ikat rambut siap pakai cekak lagi.. selalu dia memang tak nak ikat rambut.. aku pun tatau la kenapa suka sangat rambut mengerbang-ngerbang gitu!

since she's the smallest one in class, dapat la line up kat depan sekali.. tu with her best friend Ana Maryam.. partner in crime causing mischief in school.. lagi hebat dari Mika according to aunties..
fun fact: kakak Ana Maryam is Mika's BFF kat BB hahaha unfortunately, Nayla is not the same age dengan adik dia, kalau tak they could be BFF jugak kot nanti.. and their mom, is UTP alumni~
orang siap ingat Laiqa and Ana ni kembar masa sports day aritu hahaha sebab rambut, tinggi semua dah lebih kurang sama

I have no idea what are they doing, sun-gazing? huhuhu

uncle.. that's my forehead, not my eyes!! I bet dia pun tatau apa yang dia kene tengok.. plus pak cik ni pun salah park mata dia.. mesti dia pelik, aku nak tengok apa kat lantai ni.. 

 

Kejap je field trip diaorang ni, by 3PM dah sampai balik kat school ground.. bila aku tanya ada feed animal ke.. dia jawab belum pegi lagi.. confused aku kejap.. tertinggal bas ke budak ni.. rupanya memang dorang tak de pergi tengok animals pun kali ni.. hahahaha kesian, cita-cita field trip dia nak tengok animals.. lain kali lah kak. esok-esok kita ajak daddy pegi zoo la senang~

Brainy Bunch Sports Day 2016

The day Mika has been waiting for.. kat rumah siap practice lagi sukaneka dia kat rumah dengan daddy, nak menang katanya..

This year BBIM decide nak buat outdoor sebab last year ramai parents tanya kenapa buat indoor.. they want it outdoor. Outdoor activities time heatwave, nice one parents. kalau takde heatwave pon, with Malaysia weather, panas kot!! I'm sure kali ni ramai pulak orang complaint pasal sukan outdoor. orang zaman sekarang ni complaint je memanjang.  obviously i prefer it indoor, takde la risau bawak anak kecik-kecik. tapi aku takde la jenis nak complaint, cuma aku tanya alternative lain ke since panas menggila ni kesian kat budak-budak.

anyway, dorang end up cepatkan masa event. by 7am dah kene register kat Wetland Putrajaya..

My view dari bawah khemah. Ni lagi satu sebab kenapa aku tak suka buat outdoor dekat flat land. Masa marching, dorang dah announce to be seated and jangan duduk kat padang so that semua orang boleh tengok the kids march. Tapinya mak pak tak reti bahasa ni tak reti-reti jugak. Siap berdiri kat depan depan tayang bontot masing-masing. Ke korang tak paham English? next time kene buat in dual language la agaknya.. Hantar anak sekolah gempak-gempak tapi perangai korang tak gempak mana.. jangan heran kalau anak korang pon end up tak gempak.. pfffttt!! dah kene sound depan-depan from mc pon boleh buat bodoh sampai parents kat belakang kene protest jerit-jerit.. 

i don't really enjoy this year sports day.. i couldn't even see my baby in action clearly. dah duk kat tepi pon still tak nampak sebab there will always be parents yang overexcited, anak dia sorang je masuk agaknya. dah duduk depan sekali pon tak puas, nak kena masuk kat dalam kawasan budak-budak nak main jugak.

Brainy Bunch Annual Concert 2015

It was an emotional night for me.. I am bursting with pride watching my son on stage.. Reciting his surah, singing and dancing confidently.. Tiba-tiba je bergenang air mata. With all his antic in school, I really don't know what to expect, all i want is for him to just enjoy himself. Baru nampak what he can do and achieve at such young age. Aku dulu2 setakat hafal surah pendek jek pon dah bangga gile. Doa dhuha pon tak tau oii. Bila anak pandai doa dhuha baru terkedek2 nak g belajar.

They started practising few months back.. From time to time, aku selalu request Mika menyanyi or baca surah tuk concert tp most time he will refuse.

"Saya tak tahu lah" was his normal answer.

Kalau mood baik, he will sing the finale song "we are here" by Alicia Keys. Yes Alicia Keys hahaha i seriously thought it's just a new song made by the school sebab this one time aku try search for the song tapi tak jumpa.. Hahaha but of course i was searching for "we are here for all the bird", because thats's how he sings the song

sebenar-benarnya, aku pun tak pernah tanya lebih2 kat his aunty. Just tanya berapa banyak performance dia participate. And knowing him, aku berdoa dia tak jadi patung cendana je atas stage tu hihihi





Kami dah sampai awal, but instead of masuk dewan terus, dear husband sibuk nak makan dulu.. Masuk-masuk je dah penuh kat depan.. Kene la duduk jauh!! Dah la mata aku ni spero sikit, nak cari dia atas stage punya la seksa.. Kene turun bawah baru nampak.. Thn depan beli zoom lense ye cik abang hahah senang nak zoom kasi clear~

Before leaving him to his aunty, i told him to enjoy the night and sing loudly hahaha sebab selama ni sumpah aku ingat dia ni jenis malu-malu kucing sebab dalam class alim group nak buka mulut nak menyanyi and menari pon susah. tapi elok je dia atas stage tu, kemain bersemangat lagi.

with one of his bff, paling kanan sekali.. tak sure sign apa dorg buat tapi aku tau Mika is showing his age hahaha sebab selalu request aku amik gambar gini. this bff is moving next year, tu yang semangat bergambar bagai.

with aunty Yati. his class teacher. tq Yati, for being so patient, mengajar Mika yang banyak peel ni.

I really love what they did for their concert. Selalunya, sekolah dah siap-siap prepare all the fancy costume for performance tapi in BBIM ni dorang order a standard long pants and long sleeve shirt je untuk semua. They are giving the uncle and aunty a blank canvas to work with. They are free to use their own creativity to decorate the costume mengikut thema lagu yang dorang buat.

we enjoyed the night.. till next year!!
