Hong Kong Day 2

Fuh.. lama giler baru nak update citer 2nd day in HK! i've been bz this last 2 weeks with practice and work.. keje memang takkan habis, nasib baik Axon annual dinner has ended so there'll be no more practice after this!!

Our first mission today was to see the giant golden Bauhinia blakeana (the floral emblem on the HK flag) in the Golden Bauhinia Square. The flag raising ceremony is held every day at 8am. Unfortunately we can’t seem to wake up early in HK, we reached the square around 11am. Since we missed the ceremony, we spent less than an hour here to take a few pictures before looking for Halal restaurant for lunch.
I'm falling in love with HK MTR station!! I loveeeeeeee the colors!!
Aku perasan uniform budak sekolah dia lebih kurang sama mcm uniform sek rendah kita kat sini!! British influence maybe??
Aqilah refueling in Golden Bauhinia square!! Paling special gambar bas tu.. kemain banyak patung geleng kepala tu dia susun dalam bas..
Since Miss Totty is schedule to arrive today at 2pm, we went to Wan Chai to look for one of the best and famous Kebab in town (this is according to Na’s HK guide) for a quick lunch kononnya. Turn out, it wasn’t that quick cause we lost our way and the restaurant was hard to find. Lucky thing, cik abang rajin berjalan and manage to spot the small restaurant!! The food is marveloussss!! I had Chicken Tikka and chip for HKD52. Kalau kat malaysia, makan RM7 tuk lunch pun dah rasa mahal...!! For those planning to go to HK and want to give this restaurant a try, go to their website: Ebeneezer's
We reached our hotel around 2pm. Hubby and I decided to wait for metot's arrival before going back to our room. After waiting for about 20 mins, I was sooo excited to see metot standing in front of the door, getting ready to get off the bus!! dah macam artis wa cakap sama lu!
Bila metot dah sampai, plan hari kedua telah ditukar. Instead of going to Madame Tussaud, Victoria Peak & Peak Tram or SOHO dan yang seangkatan dengannye, we head off the CityGate Outlet!! I was so happy when I got to know that they have their own factory outlet and I imagine it was something like Allen Premier Outlet in Texas. The first outlet I went to was Coach, to compare the price with Allen kan. To my disappointment, tempat ni sedikit menipu la kan. I mean, those handbag with factory tag pun selling around 2K. RM ye RM!!. pe kejadahnye? Baik aku shopping kat KL jek kalau begini kekdahnye. In the end, I didn’t get anything for myself because it was just not worth it.. chewah, cam iklan plak~~ Maliki was looking for a pair of futsal shoes, tapi yang dia suka semua takde size. Kasut2 such as Adidas, Nike…etc was quite cheap compared to Malaysian price. Brand new design in the boutique pun much cheaper!! Lastnye, end up groceries shopping jek. Nasib baik sempat isi perut makan cheese nan!!
Setelah pulang tangan kosong, kami sambung pulak kat Ladies market. This is our 2nd visit, semua kerana cik metot lambat!! Malam ni lah malam sejarah, travelholic unggul kecundang di Ladies market.. kah kah kah, siap tahan teksi balik hotel tuuuu~~
It's 11:15 pm, and my feet is killing me. Most of the shops are closing down. This marks the end of our 2nd day in Hong Kong as we head back to the hotel via the MTR.

p.s: esok is cuti.. hopefully i have time to update story-mory on Hong Kong Day 3~ amin!!
