Road trip - Cameron Highland

Road trip!!! Road trip!!!
We never really plan this road trip.. we did plan to take a few days off for the new year for Iza’s wedding and to chill in Penang!! Then we won the AFF Suzuki Cup.. and we got that extra one day off!! YAHOOOO!  4 days off!!! Friday is for the new year and Monday for winning the cup!!
So we went back on Friday night cause the husband has to be on standby (BOOO!! After asking me to take the day off for Friday~ OT tu!!) then we waited for miss aqilah to wake up from her slumberland~~ gahh!
When we wake up the next morning, we decided to go to Cameron after the reception.. wohhoo!! I had the time of my life when I got to meet up with old friend… plan nak cabut awal tak jadi cause I’m having fun catching up and gossiping with Tipah, Liz, Saly and Bum.. sorry dear husband~
We checked in at Iris hotel around 8pm.. to those planning to go to Cameron, I’ll say “Go find another hotel!!”. There was no aircond or fan in the room!! walaupun kat luar sejuk, when you closed the window.. the room becomes stuffy and hot (by my standard!!)
Then off we go to the Brinchang pasar malam.. it was raining and cold! we had dinner at Anis Tom Yam. Tom yam cendawan was delicious and cheappp! Hehe
We end our day with hot shower.. nasib ada heater~
The next day, we went to Big Red Strawberry farm for strawberry picking. I’ve been to Cameron before but we never really get to pick our own strawberry. We got lucky today, the weather was on our side. The sky was clear and beautiful!

We were so excited looking at all those strawberries, armed with a basket and scissors we started picking all those big red ones!! Harga strawberry kat sini RM20 for ½ kilos, korang judge sendiri la mahal ke tidak since aku pun jarang beli strawberry. Macam mana nak tau korang dah kutip ½ kilo?? They have a ½ and 1 kilo mark on each basket provided, so tak perlu risau! Hasil kutipan kami ialah RM25!!

Dah penat mengutip strawberry, we hang out at the café and enjoyed their strawberry dessert. They have all kinds of strawberry dessert!! We bought strawberry yogurt smoothies and strawberry sundae for lunch, erks~

Then we head off to the Cactus valley. Jeng jeng jeng.. the husband was all excited looking at all the cactus.. cita-cita tinggi nak beli semua jenis yang ada.. uhuk-uhuk which is a lottt!! So we end up with 8 different cactus..

 

  

Top-right is the most hairiest cactus i've ever seen, if such word exist!!

dah habis cash semua, apa lagi… turun ke darat semula la!


p/s: i love cameron and hope to go again with the G2-ians.. ehem2 bila nak jalan plan ini ye rakan-rakan sekalian??
